Hi! I'm Iain Galloway. I'm a software engineer based in Edinburgh. Contact me by e-mail. I keep a blog here on various topics - mostly regarding software projects.

I compose and perform music. I play drums in a local band, Proxy, and I've also been gigging with the fabulous Iona Bain.

I have a personal interest in software development. My main interests are in Human-Computer Interaction, Business Systems Analysis, Software Architecture, Standards-Based Development, Development Methodologies, and Release Management. I've also recently been dabbling in Games Design and Social Networking.

When at work, I program mostly in C# (ASP.NET) and Java (J2EE). I enjoy learning to use other languages and tools. Take a look at some of the projects I'm working on.

I currently work for Capsoft UK doing bespoke application development for the legal and financial industries. Previously I have worked in web application development and consultancy. You can download my CV.
