I compose and perform music. I play drums in a local band, Proxy. I've also been performing with singer/songwriter Iona Bain and indie/pop/rock band Jump: Press A.

I have a personal interest in software development. My main concerns are Human-Computer Interaction, Requirements Analysis, and Software Architecture. I've also recently been dabbling in Games Design and Social Networking in order to keep my focus on how people use software, rather than simply on software.

I develop mostly in C# (ASP.NET 3.5) and Java (J2EE). However I work with a wide range of technologies, and enjoy learning to use new tools and techniques. Take a look at some of the projects I'm working on.

I am currently employed as a Senior Consultant for Capsoft UK providing bespoke application development to the legal and financial sectors. Previously I have worked in web application development as a freelance consultant. I use a combination of detailed analysis and rapid prototyping in order to prevent costly requirements faults later in the project. You can download my CV.
